Digital Product Passports on EU infrastructure

Mint a unique, never-reused identifier, print its QR datacarrier once, and keep the passport behind it current. One scan gives people a readable page and systems machine-readable JSON-LD.

From Business, at €19 per month. White-label on Enterprise.

What you get

What EUQR runs for your passports

One code, two audiences

The same identifier serves consumers a readable passport page and systems structured JSON-LD via content negotiation. No app on either side.

Print once, update forever

The printed datacarrier never changes while the data behind it stays editable. Correct a value or add a document and every code already in the field shows it.

Identifiers with or without GS1

Use GS1 Digital Link for products that carry a GTIN, or let EUQR issue the identifier under its own EU-hosted domain, no GS1 membership required.

How it works

From product to scannable passport

01

Create the product and mint its identifier

Choose GS1 Digital Link (GTIN, check-digit validated) or an EUQR-issued identifier. Every identifier is unique and never reused.

02

Fill the passport data

Structured forms follow the sector schema, battery first, and completeness is tracked while you type. You supply the data; EUQR structures and serves it.

03

Print the datacarrier

Download the QR code in PNG, SVG, EPS or PDF and print it at 2×2 cm or larger. Scans resolve to the current passport, updates need no reprint.

White-label

Run it under your own brand

Enterprise accounts put the passport dashboard on their own domain, with their own logo and colors. EUQR stays the infrastructure underneath; your team and your customers see your brand.

Questions

Which plan includes product passports?

Product passports are available from Business, at €19 per month, with higher limits on Agency. White-label and custom domains come with Enterprise.

Do I need a GS1 membership?

No. EUQR can issue the identifier under its own EU-hosted domain. If your products already carry GTINs, the GS1 Digital Link route uses those instead.

Which products need a passport, and when?

The EU Battery Regulation requires battery passports from 18 February 2027, and more product groups follow under the ESPR. EUQR starts with the battery schema and adds sectors as the delegated acts land.
